IGF France 2024

Established by the World Summit on Information Society in 2005 in Tunis, the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) is an innovative space for dialogue, that brings together government representatives, and players from the technical community, private sector and Internet civil society from all over the world. Attached to the United Nations, the IGF aims to address, through collective and in-depth reflection, the challenges of Internet governance.

Artificial intelligence, the future of Internet governance, cyber-resilience and geopolitics, the general reference for the eco-conception of digital services (RGESN), citizen participation: the topics on the IGF France 2024 agenda are numerous.


At this event, Renaissance Numérique is organising a round-table discussion entitled ‘What is the place of citizens in the international governance of AI?

Who represents citizens in AI governance bodies? What tools do they have at their disposal? Can we draw inspiration from other sectors to ensure that public interest is considered in the deployment of AI tools?
